"MY DREAM, MY FUTURE"

Our future is unpredictable,it's unexpected for some reasons like everything change and noone is sure about his/her future.Even the greatest and the best fortune teller can't predict ones future because it depends on the individual who makes his/her future.

It all started when  I'm still a child with ignorant and innocent mind until now that I've grown up, I still believe that one must have a dream to serve as a direction for him to lead the right way.

Days  from now, I will make the biggest decision that will change my life and to make my future a bright one. I am a person with many dreams in life; to become a nurse and a chef are some, but I needed to chose between them for my own good because there is a time for everything. Maybe the two are good but I considered many factors in choosing.

After thinking thousand of times,I have chosen to become a nurse in the future. I am dreaming the best for my self.I want to become successful not just for myself,my family,my friends but also to everyone who is in need of my service. Maybe others say that nurse are already too many but only few can do what really a nurse must be.Four years from now, with God's help I will be a competent nurse who aims the best of life.

With God's help, perceiverance, and little sacrifice,I believe that I can achieve what am I aiming for.

CHANGE:It starts with me

"Youth is the hope of our nation"an inspiring yet a challenging words of Dr.Jose P. Rizal to us but youth power of today is already fading, discipline among them has already diminished and they let bad habits prevailed over them.

To attain change, one must start change into his /her own.Nobody can spread change into his family, town, province, region, country and even to the world without starting change from himself .Change must be from the heart of the implementor.Teenagers who must be the one who are role models for the next generations of youth and future leaders of our country are the one who fail to change even if it is their own good. Most teenagers only cares about themselves, their happiness because they don't care about others.

As a youth, I must change. I must not do the things that I am the only one who is benefited,I must always think for all the people around me;the best for them is what they deserve.

Changing is a great sacrifice. It's hard but CHANGE is best when it is tfor the betterment of others.

I've already started it.

Now, it's your turn.

WHAT A DAY !!!

Vigan City or "ciudad Fernandina" as formerly called before has been known not only in the Philippines but also in foreign countries for its unique sceneries. There the Plaza Burgos,Syquia Mansion, Arzobispado and the ancestral houses.

St. Paul is the patron saint of Vigan City . Vigan City fiesta, celebrated annually on January 25 commemorates the conversion of St. Paul , the apostle. He used his new life and new mission to change the world of his day. St. Paul was the first and greatest missionary of the Christian church. He remained faithful to his mission in proclaiming the good news about Jesus to the world.

As part of celebrating the feast of St. Paul ,vigan City had events, contests, and parades which were joined by all organizations in the said city. Longaniza festival was one. The said event aims to promote Vigan City's Longanisa and other delicacies like empanada, bagnet "koy", special bibingka' and "sinuman". Many tourists were roaming around Vigan City and they were amazed by the sceneries that Vigan have while they are riding in a caleza and that makes me proud to be a Bigueno.

Viva Vigan !!!

Viva St. Paul !!!

Before It Ends. . .

Is it truly ten months that passed?

Three months before the best yet the saddest day of our high school life; the GRADUATION DAY.

Should I now feel blue? or just enjoy being with IV-MAXCONI?

Every single day was truly worth remembering for this third grading period. In our Information and Communication Technology class, we made a sample of a web page design. At first I don't know what to do but with the help of ma'am Eve and my classmates, I am learning it little by little. It was because it's my first time to encounter the lesson and I don't even have any idea about it. We used our project last grading period where we went at Nalasin, Vigan City exactly at Vigan City waste Management Program.

On our other subjects, we were just doing nothing but to discuss lessons and after a while; to have a test. It's true that sometimes, we are doing nothing but to talk and laugh with one another; to have a bonding in short, but, most of the time our short but most of the time our schedule is a hectic one that we don't even know how and what to start thousands of works, assignments and projects, we are just like college students.

Before our journey ends ,let's enjoy the remaining months of being a high school student ,because high school is far different from college life.

NEW YEAR NEW RUBIE

It's time to fold our calendars and open a new beginning in 2011

The surrounding was full of smoke and it was noisy as if I'm inside the market. But it was night time ,and as I looked up, I saw fireworks sparkling together with the beautiful stars. My mother was wearing a ;polka-dots" blouse and she prepared a dozen f sphere-shaped fruits too. When the two hands of the clock pointed twelve, my sister even my brother jumped as high as they could. That was then I realized that it's NEW YEAR.

New Year is the time that we are given the chance a to start again our lives in a good way. Me? I think I started my year right but I think I can't truly make right steps all through-out the whole year.Others made their new years resolution to serve as a challenge for them but I didn't make my own.

Should I make a new "RUBIE" if I can develop a better "RUBIE"? My friends accepted me for who am I in the past and for them, I will change my bad attitudes and try to be a better person in the remaining years of my life. I must also be more responsible daughter and I'll try not to break my promises to my parents and friends.

2010 has been a wonderful year to t5reasure and to be remembered by all of us but a new year has come so that we can do better things than the previous years of our lives.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA

Why do other people remember Santa Claus instead of Papa Jesus every Christmas?Isn't it that it's Papa Jesus birthday? Shouldn't we remember Him the most?

He is our savior, who saved us from evils. He is the perfect father whom we can share our problems and willing to listen to us everytime. Even His away, His love for us is still indeed around us. He is not with us but He is guiding us wherever we are.Even the easiest to the hardest problems that we encounter,He is looking after us. Because He is our father, our great father.Infact He sacrificed His life for His children;for us.

In his special day, which we call Christmas, He only wants us to give Him a gift from our hearts.Indeed the true essence of Christmas are gift-giving and gift-receiving.It's not the decorations, fopods or the gifts that matter it's how we believe and feel the presence of God in our hearts every Christmas.

Christmas is the time to share our blessings in life.Just like what God did for us;He gave His only son for us.Let's make everyday a Christmas to love one other.

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

Together we stand, divided we fall, together we climb to the top of the world.

Our country is facing the most difficult problems yet easiest if we just cooperate and help one another. The key through a peaceful and progressive country is just within us.

In this world, we can’t live without each other. God created not just one person but many so that each individual must acquire the help of one another before he can have a better life. Do you think one person can carry such a big responsibility to manage the whole world? We can clear the air through helping one another. We are the one who are responsible in destroying mother earth but we can still fix it by manpower. We have the power to change the whole world into its best.

No man is an island. That’s truly the main purpose why there are btoo many people here in the world. If we just conceive, believe and help one another, we can achieve a progressive yet peaceful paradise to live.
Nothing is impossible if we work hand in hand. Even the most difficult struggles that may come are as easy as one, two, and three.

Time to rest relax and refresh

Students who have their vacation is such a big thing to rest for a five-day heavy work. But as a senior special science class student , we need time to rest because even every Saturdays and Sundays ,we are at the school busy finishing our works, projects, having trainings and even having seminars. Our schedules are hectic one.

And after our very hard periodical tests, we needed time to relax, rest and refresh our minds.

Saturday evening the last day of the campaign period for the local and SK elections, an unexpected thing happened. A police together with his companions started a disagreement exactly in front of our house. The policeman was armed by a gun that made our neighbors fight them. All were quarrelling which made my mother’s blood pressure went high. But thanks God, she was fine after we sent her to the nearest hospital in our place.

After that terrible evening ,was a wonderful election day. I, together with my mother went to the election percent to vote. It was my first time to vote that I was nervous yet excited.

I’ve also spent my vacation at the house of my grandma for three days. I just went home the time we visited the tombs of our relatives at the cemetery. We lighted some candles and we also offered flowers for them. When the mass was over, I was woken up by a voice telling us to get up for we have already classes.

More than a week vacation is such a short one but it depends on the person if he will sent it wisely or just destroy it with useless matters.

eXeRciSES. . . ExeRCISeS. . .

It was yesterday when I was nervous in entering the computer room number three. It was in the first grading period when I learned a lot of things that helped me moved on to the second grading period.
Now, we are about to end the second grading period with smiles in our faces and knowledge in our minds. Let me first remember those beautiful memories of this grading period.
If the lessons were talked about, I will never forget those HTML tags and its background. I can’t imagine how inventors thought about them. It was also my first time to meet those tags.
But still, we can’t avoid problems that occurred during the exercises that we made. I needed to be careful to every character that I type because every single character was as important as gold. If one character is missing, the whole will be a mistake. So, I became very careful in typing and making my exercises.
Moving on, I will make sure that I will become more studious in the next grading period.

"Breaking Barriers Through English"

Imagine the people of the world with no common language in communicating. People can’t understand nor communicate with each other. Can they solve problems? Can they express their opinions or suggestions? Or will a country achieve progress?
Until the day came that English was proclaimed as the universal language. People then felt easy in communicating with other people who have different language with them. English is one of the factor why the world seem to achieve peace.
But in the other hand, many countries have misunderstandings because of their visions, beliefs and even to their culture that are different as theirs but when we take a look of it, it’s not a very hard problem. Only if we realize that all problems can be solved by communicating with each other ,all problems can be solved through English.
Discriminations can also be vanished in all kinds of life and even to man and woman through expressing the opinions and suggestions of people who are involved by these issues.
English had once proven to be effective in making the world achieve piece and who knows if one day it can also be a way to communicate with the other living things around us.

FILIPINOVATION: the way forward

Can you imagine yourself living in the ancient times? Our ancestors once lived in huts and they even eat meat of animals without cooking them just to survive. Some were really contented by that kind of life but many were not. So, they improved many things that can be useful to man.
Don’t you think today is our time to do the same for our country’s sake?
The Philippines has left away by our neighboring countries by means of improvements. But compared to other countries, the Philippines have better culture that we must be proud of it.
Let us all make a new Philippines. All of us can do something to fulfill this dream. Every one of us can help a lot in improving our culture and the simplest thing that we can do is to promote our culture in order to have a better quality of life. Even students like us can do a lot in our simple ways. We can apply our knowledge in our subjects such us research through our investigatory projects which making simple things in a better one.
It’s time for us to move forward. Let’s help hand in hand for our own good. Filipino culture may be at the top if we cooperate and help each other.

MY TEACHER, MY HERO

Others say that "teachers are like candles who burns itself to light the life of others".
We are all studying to become somebody in the future; a doctor, nurse, businessman, pilot and others but do you think we can make it without our superheroes?
They are not the superheroes with extra-ordinary powers that can fly or disappear and they don't even need to have an "anting-anting" to defeat evils.  Our superhero only needs a chalk, black-board and he,  himself to change the life of a person.
We are with them  almost eight hours every day.  If we meet them, they are just an ordinary person but if only we can realize that they do sacrifice a lot for us.
They are our teachers who are our second parents in the school, they guide us to go in the right way of life.
Their sacrifices for us are not comparable and it is priceless. For me,  the simplest gifts that we could  give to them are love , respect and saying thank you to them.
Being a mother and a father for many students is a big  responsibility and I salute you ma'am,sir for being a responsible one.

MY REFLECTION

We all come to school to learn more knowledge, to meet new friends and even to discover new things that we have not yet encountered when we were in early years of living.
In my fifteen years,Technology evolves very fast. Now lot's of social networking sites were created. When we were juniors we learned about creating our word press and now that we are already seniors, our teacher in Information Communication Technology taught us about how to create our blogs. I enjoyed browsing the application.
In the other hand, there were some problems that I encountered since it was my first time to create my blog. One of them is that I don't know how to change my template and I was also challenged to follow more friends and I want that my followers will increase.
By these, thank you to my classmates and teacher that I had addressed all these challenges in creating my blog. They helped and taught me how to change my template and taught me the things that i haven't yet encountered.
Moving on I hope that our teacher will introduced to us  new lessons to tackle which are quite interesting. And even if  it  hard I'll do all to learn it.

Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan

Our language was made by love. It is the love of former president Manuel L. Quezon for us. Love that made all Filipinos as one in will and goal.
This language made us communicate with one another even if we have different dialects. We can understand what do the person we are talking to means. But our own language “Filipino” is fading. But then again we can preserve our language through love. Love by means of using it when we communicate. We must show importance to our dialect so that it will last forever.
Just like our language, we must as well give importance to the nature. We must love nature by protecting it. Without nature we cant live long because it provides our basic necessities.
Our language and nature are two different things but there is one thing in common to them and that is we cant live without them and so, we must and protect them.

SA PAGKAING TAMA AT SAPAT WASTONG TIMBANG NI BABY ANG KATAPAT

Health
is an advantage to those who have illness. We must do something to be a healthy individual. So that our body will function well.

Breastfeeding is still best for babies up to two years of age and beyond. So that baby will grow vigorously and bright, mothers should give their babies foods that are right and nutritious.Just like the three basic food groups which provides energy, body building foods and give resistance to our body. And also not forget to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.Regular intake of right foods such as fruits and vegetables can be more effective in attaining a healthy body.

Foods like those in the Food Pyramid must be taken by a body regularly to prevent diseases that can cause malnourishment of babies who are the future of our motherland. These foods are the key to attain a healthy or a well-nourished body and to prevent diseases for attacking our body.

In maintaining a healthy body, one must not only eat nutritious foods but also stop from smoking habits and even drinking liquors that could destroy a healthy body.

Dear Mr. President

Dear Mr. President,

First of all, I want you to congratulate for winning on the presidential race last May 10 election. All Filipinos already decided the future of our country in the next six years, and hopefully they chose the best one.

I am a student of a big institution here in Ilocos Sur. Our school has a main goal, and that is making the school free from fraternities, drug users and smokers.
It's a big issue today that you as our president is smoking. Critics already have debates and they all have great opinions about this issue. Some says that its just okay that you are smoking because it's normal thing for male persons, but for me, as a student, how I wish that you'll stop from smoking.

We all know that smoking habit is dangerous and it is prohibited to young people. And if we see that the president is smoking, don't you think that we will not do the same thing?

Majority of the citizens of the Philippines voted you because they idolize, believe and trust you what you do is right in their eyes.

I just want to wish one thing to you, Be a model to us students, youths, and teenagers who are the hope of our nation.
