WHAT A DAY !!!

Vigan City or "ciudad Fernandina" as formerly called before has been known not only in the Philippines but also in foreign countries for its unique sceneries. There the Plaza Burgos,Syquia Mansion, Arzobispado and the ancestral houses.

St. Paul is the patron saint of Vigan City . Vigan City fiesta, celebrated annually on January 25 commemorates the conversion of St. Paul , the apostle. He used his new life and new mission to change the world of his day. St. Paul was the first and greatest missionary of the Christian church. He remained faithful to his mission in proclaiming the good news about Jesus to the world.

As part of celebrating the feast of St. Paul ,vigan City had events, contests, and parades which were joined by all organizations in the said city. Longaniza festival was one. The said event aims to promote Vigan City's Longanisa and other delicacies like empanada, bagnet "koy", special bibingka' and "sinuman". Many tourists were roaming around Vigan City and they were amazed by the sceneries that Vigan have while they are riding in a caleza and that makes me proud to be a Bigueno.

Viva Vigan !!!

Viva St. Paul !!!
