"Breaking Barriers Through English"

Imagine the people of the world with no common language in communicating. People can’t understand nor communicate with each other. Can they solve problems? Can they express their opinions or suggestions? Or will a country achieve progress?
Until the day came that English was proclaimed as the universal language. People then felt easy in communicating with other people who have different language with them. English is one of the factor why the world seem to achieve peace.
But in the other hand, many countries have misunderstandings because of their visions, beliefs and even to their culture that are different as theirs but when we take a look of it, it’s not a very hard problem. Only if we realize that all problems can be solved by communicating with each other ,all problems can be solved through English.
Discriminations can also be vanished in all kinds of life and even to man and woman through expressing the opinions and suggestions of people who are involved by these issues.
English had once proven to be effective in making the world achieve piece and who knows if one day it can also be a way to communicate with the other living things around us.

FILIPINOVATION: the way forward

Can you imagine yourself living in the ancient times? Our ancestors once lived in huts and they even eat meat of animals without cooking them just to survive. Some were really contented by that kind of life but many were not. So, they improved many things that can be useful to man.
Don’t you think today is our time to do the same for our country’s sake?
The Philippines has left away by our neighboring countries by means of improvements. But compared to other countries, the Philippines have better culture that we must be proud of it.
Let us all make a new Philippines. All of us can do something to fulfill this dream. Every one of us can help a lot in improving our culture and the simplest thing that we can do is to promote our culture in order to have a better quality of life. Even students like us can do a lot in our simple ways. We can apply our knowledge in our subjects such us research through our investigatory projects which making simple things in a better one.
It’s time for us to move forward. Let’s help hand in hand for our own good. Filipino culture may be at the top if we cooperate and help each other.

MY TEACHER, MY HERO

Others say that "teachers are like candles who burns itself to light the life of others".
We are all studying to become somebody in the future; a doctor, nurse, businessman, pilot and others but do you think we can make it without our superheroes?
They are not the superheroes with extra-ordinary powers that can fly or disappear and they don't even need to have an "anting-anting" to defeat evils.  Our superhero only needs a chalk, black-board and he,  himself to change the life of a person.
We are with them  almost eight hours every day.  If we meet them, they are just an ordinary person but if only we can realize that they do sacrifice a lot for us.
They are our teachers who are our second parents in the school, they guide us to go in the right way of life.
Their sacrifices for us are not comparable and it is priceless. For me,  the simplest gifts that we could  give to them are love , respect and saying thank you to them.
Being a mother and a father for many students is a big  responsibility and I salute you ma'am,sir for being a responsible one.
